Contracts

Contracts: [user type: company/organization]

  • Contracts module is used to create and send contracts to the customers.
  • The contracts are created using predefined fields and the company user just needs to fill the text boxes per the fields.
  • Contract will have the values, names, titles,description, signature, etc. elements in order to share it with the already added end-users in the platform.

Here’s how you can access the contract module

Login [via company creds] > on left navigation bar, click on contracts > You’ll see the contract module dashboard with below elements:

  • Statistics [number] of the Contracts on the platform
    • Total contracts
    • Current month contracts
    • Current week contracts
    • Past 30 days contracts
  • List of customers the contracts are shared with; the below details of

    customer is presented:

    • ID – the contract ID of the customer
    • Subject – Subject of the Contract shared with customer
    • Customer name
    • Contract type – if the contract is for sales purpose or for onboarding purpose, etc.[this can be set from admin side]
    • Contract value – the value is an amount for which the contract is for
    • Start date – Contract valid from date
    • End date – Contract valid up-to date
    • Status – if the contract is open or closed
    • Action buttons – Duplicate, View, Edit, Delete
    • Search option
  • Create button [upper right corner in

    Contract dashboard]

    • Subject –  Subject of the Contract shared with customer
    • Customer – dropdown list to select the customer
    • Contract type – if the contract is for sales purpose or for onboarding purpose, etc. [this can be set from admin side]
    • Contract value – the value is an amount for which the contract is for
    • Start date – Contract valid from date
    • End date – Contract valid up-to date
    • Description

      –  enter what is the contract about

    • Status –  open/close
  • Action buttons in list of contracts
    • Duplicate –  create a copy of the contract with same details
    • View – lets you view the contract details and manage it
      • Upon clicking on view, you’ll see new screen with contract fields and textboxes; divided into 4 parts
        • General – you get basic contract details like, stats of the below(attachments, comments, notes), add description in contract.
        • Attachment – you can upload/ attach any file with your contract.
        • Comments – you and the ones the contract is shared with [users of the system], can comment in this section.
        • Notes – you can add notes on top of general description or in case of any additional information needs to be sent in a contract.
      • Action buttons:
        • Send email –  upon clicking on this button,the contract is sent to the ID of the particular user for whom the contract is created.
        • Duplicate –  creates the copy of contract with similar details
        • Comments – Download – you can to download the contract as a PDF
        • Notes – Preview – you can check the layout view of the contract you created
        • Notes – Signature – for new contracts you can add signature to the contract using this option and for the already existing open ones, you can edit your signature using this option.
    • Edit – lets you edit the basic contract details, which you added while creating a new contract
    • Delete – deletes the contract from the list
